The District offers several homebuyer programs. HPAP provides down payment assistance based on income, EAHP is for District employees, and DC Open Doors helps with closing costs and low down payments.
Most programs require a homebuyer education class. Community-based organizations offer these classes monthly; the schedule is on the Events page.
