The Zoning Commission has approved a 120-unit mixed-income building near the Congress Heights Metro station. Forty units are reserved for households earning at or below 50 percent of the area median income.
Construction is expected to begin next spring. Information on how to apply for the affordable units will be published on the housing page before leasing opens.
